1/2 a cantaloupe
1/4 cup of Mango Juice
3 tsp sugar
1 lime (juiced)
1 packet of Knox gelatin
2 oz of water
1.5 oz of Sake Rice Wine
Blend the cantaloupe, mango juice, sugar and lime until silky smooth and sugar has dissolved.
In a small bowl add the packet of gelatin and 2 oz of room temperature water. Let soak for 2 minutes then microwave for 30-40 seconds.
Pour the sake in the hot gelatin and mix thoroughly. Strain the alcohol gel mixture and add to the melon mango base.
Mix everything well and adjust to taste. Pour completed mixture into pop molds immediately and freeze.
