3 of 5
Making a Thanksgiving meal is pretty darn elaborate. That's a huge reason why we wanted to keep the recipes we give you simple. This ramen recipe will warm you right up as it starts to get cold. On top of that, it is a convenient meal to make during the week.
TURKEY BACON RAMEN
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
2 packages Ramen Instant Noodles
1 cup leftover turkey
6 pieces of bacon
2 to 3 green onions
2 soft boiled eggs
For Bacon:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place a cooling rack on the baking sheet. Add bacon on top of the cooling rack and place in the oven. Cook bacon for 20 minutes (flip over half way through). You can cook bacon longer for desired crispiness.
For Egg:
Add 1 inch of water to a sauce pot, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add eggs straight from the refrigerator to the pot. Put the lid on and let it continue to boil for exactly six minutes. After six minutes, remove the egg(s) from the pot and place them in ice water or run under cool water until they are cool enough to handle.
For Ramen:
Heat ramen according to package directions. Make sure to add in the spice packet provided. Chop up turkey and green onions. Heat up the turkey. Add ramen into a bowl. Add in turkey, egg, bacon and green onions. Enjoy!
