KALE PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE
SERVING SIZE:
Makes 1 smoothie
INGREDIENTS:
4 oz cold water
½ medium orange (peeled and segmented)
¾ cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
½ medium apple (peeled, cored and sliced)
1 cup packed kale leaves (stems removed)
½ frozen banana
1-2 dates (optional for sweetness)
½ cup ice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Purée all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Taste for sweetness, adding 1-2 dates if needed (you’ll want to reblend to incorporate).
3. Pour your Kale Pineapple Smoothie into an
insulated tumbler and enjoy!
