In today’s blog post we are going to give you a few recipes for plant based ice cream mix and how you can make delicious desserts with Zoku products. One of our favorite mixes to use with our Zoku products is Elmhurst Plant Based Oat Milk Ice Cream mix. It has an amazing taste and makes smooth plant based ice cream. We hope you enjoy these recipes!
Cookies and Cream
with Zoku Ice Cream Bowl
Ingredients:
1 cup of Elmhurst Plant Based Ice Cream mix
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Handful of Oreo, Newman O, or similar cookies
Directions:
1. Freeze Zoku Ice Cream Bowl overnight
2. Add chilled Elmhurst plant based ice cream mix into an already frozen Zoku ice cream bowl.
3. Mix until desired thick consistency.
4. Fold in cream cookies and vanilla extract to taste
Strawberry Ice Cream
with Zoku Quick Pop Maker
Ingredients:
1 cup of Elmhurst Plant Based Ice Cream mix
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Handful of fresh strawberries
Directions:
1. Freeze Zoku Quick Pop Maker unit overnight
2. Blend together chilled Elmhurst plant based ice cream mix, fresh strawberries and vanilla extract
3. Place sticks in already frozen Zoku Quick Pop Maker
4. Use the Mixture to pour to the fill line
5. In about 7 minutes your popsicle will be frozen and ready to remove.
6. Screw the super tool onto the popsicle sticks to easily remove your popsicles.
Banana Chocolate Milkshake
with Zoku Slush & Shake Maker
Ingredients:
1 cup Elmhurst Plant Based Ice Cream mix,
1 banana
Chocolate sauce of your choice
Directions:
1. Freeze Zoku Slush and Shake Maker overnight.
2. Blend together chilled Elmhurst plant based ice cream mix, bananas, and your choice of chocolate sauce.
3. Mix into already frozen Zoku Slush and Shake Maker. Stir until desired milkshake consistency.

I realize the question was not answered for two years – Zoku should be responding. Anyway, I thought I’d answer in case others have the same question. There are other recipies, not plant based, that use milk. Here are the ingredients for the chocolate ice cream: INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups whole milk
1 ½ cups heavy cream
¾ cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tbsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp Kosher salt

I bought the Zoku ice cream maker
And realized that you must use only the special mix
My question is can I use milk and my ingredient s instead? Such as lemonade
Or milk and vanela?
