Our Journey
After years of experience in product development and design, Yos Kumthampinij founded ZOKU in 2009 to create a brand centered around innovation, functionality, and modern living. From the beginning, the goal was to develop thoughtfully designed products that solve everyday challenges while bringing more enjoyable experiences to customers through smart and creative design.
Together with Chris Green, the brand continues to evolve through purposeful innovation and a commitment to creating products that make everyday moments more fun, memorable, and enjoyable.
One of ZOKU's earliest breakthroughs was the idea for a device that could freeze popsicles rapidly. What began as a simple prototype quickly evolved into the iconic Quick Pop Maker — a product that helped put ZOKU on the map and earned recognition for its innovative approach to everyday living. Soon after launch, WIRED described the Hoboken-based brand as "a scrappy designer's success story."
Today, ZOKU continues to create innovative products designed to bring more enjoyable experiences to everyday life through thoughtful design. From space-saving storage solutions to on-the-go essentials, each product is carefully developed with a focus on creativity, functionality, and modern living — staying true to the brand's commitment to balancing form and function.
